The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Glen tends to try to do more work in his head than on paper. He does not like speaking out loud either, making it difficult for him to solve certain problems. He has issues with transferring skills between different operations. He does, however, show a great deal of concentration and he looks like he genuinely wants to learn.
No issues with his attitude at all, he's great to work with and very attentive. Vitor always applies himself well. Vitor could afford to take more notes while I'm explaining concepts, but still keeps up during sessions. He also keeps his work neat, though his note-taking is slightly messy.
Alex is a very bright kid: no gaps have revealed themselves so far. He seems to excel in Maths, but English might be a little bit harder. However, he is more creative than he gives himself credit for!

Ryan has been great. Jordon is already understanding more of the content which is fantastic. His words were "Ryan explains things much better than my teacher, so I understand it better."
All is going well with David. He is always on time and explaining things well with Ella. They are working through her math book and things are moving forward which is great. She will continue with a tutor once she starts school in Malaysia.
Thank you for your email. Ben and David are working well together and it appears that the working relationship is positive. Interestingly, Ben has instantly been able to move to working with David as both David and Ben have in common the same secondary school that Ben is currently going to. So while David attended the school some years prior to Ben, and much has change, they were still able to compare experiences about the school which helped start them working constructively. We are very satisfied with continuing with David.
