Year 11 and 12 Chemistry can be intimidating. Students need to learn heaps of content, be able to recognize reactions and analyse chemical systems. The number of concepts students need to master is overwhelming, and the workload only adds up as they move up the curriculum. If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.

If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.
Tutors we work with know that. They've been there. Being approached by a mentor rather than a teacher makes it easier for students to develop an appreciation for chemistry. That's what it comes down to - someone making sure your child doesn't give up.
For some students it's just passing a test, for others it's getting through HSC with flying colours, maybe even preparing for a career in STEM. Whatever the goal, we are there to support your child through it all.
So what's the next step?
Give us a call and we will organise a chemistry tutor in Elderslie to come to your home for one-on-one tutoring, at a time that works for you and your child.
We allocate local Elderslie chemistry tutors so scheduling is never an issue. Changed your mind or need to postpone the lesson? No worries, there are no cancellation costs.
On top of that, the first lesson is a trial so if you don't like the tutor we'll find someone else who is better suited.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
This month we brain-stormed and reviewed what we had already covered this is a strong note taking technique for Brianna to use as she can begin to draw parallels between each topic and see how they relate. We are also using mathletics as a base to what she is currently learning. We are using this so that she isn't just typing her answer in but she is writing down her working. This helps her spot errors if there are any.
Ris has a positive attitude to learning, providing past tests without being prompted and completing work prior to the lesson. Same as above. Ris needs to slow down and take extra steps when going through work to reduce the little mistakes.
NA Over the past NAPLAN prep tests, he often gets geometry questions wrong in Math and grammar/punctuation questions wrong in English. Often they are just silly mistakes that need more deep thinking.

Thank you to Ezy Math Tutoring for providing an excellent service and an excellent tutor. My child needed support in VCE English and History. I contacted Ezy Math Tutoring after researching tutoring services on the Internet. The tutor organised brilliant lessons. She encouraged and supported my child through her final year of secondary school. As a result, my child got an ATAR score needed for the course she wanted to do and will be attending her preferred university.
I wanted to send a quick note to advise how impressed I was with the young man who visited our home to commence tutoring my son Samuel last week, Darius. He was absolutely delightful and both Sam and I are looking forward to improving Sam's math with Darius' assistance and support this year. Although it was our initial meeting with Darius I feel that he will be an excellent role model for my son moving forward.
Ezy Math Tutoring was an excellent service for my daughter who had been finding maths hard. It provides one on one tuition at the home of the student and the tutors tailor the work directly to the needs of that student. I recommend Ezy Math Tutoring as it is well organised, efficient and highly convenient. Our tutor was very patient and helpful and our daughter's maths grades improved. In addition, we received progress reports, and information regarding further maths resources.
