Physics is such a vast area, it's easy to get lost. While a lot of the content can be simply memorised, which many students still do, physics also requires higher-order thinking. Understanding the scientific method isn't a small task. All of these demands in a short period of time and with exams coming closer and closer, no wonder students shy away from science subjects. The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Busra and Hatice need to improve on pen to paper even if its just writing down an equation they think might be useful. If they believe they can do the question, I'm sure they'll be able to do it! They have good talking aloud skills and we have good discussions about how to solve the problem at hand.
I fee we have a positive attitude towards gaining understanding the steps and process and seeking the solution. We practice different type of problems that are based in one chapter and also revise it after 2 or 3 lessons again. We Practice and discuss the questions and answers every week, and then we are reviewing the previous problems and try it again.
we have been revisiting some long multiplication and division to let Hannah get used to her times tables. Hannah's working out is a little messy, I will encourage her to show her working in a more organised manner, e.g. from left to right or top to bottom.

Kirra is really benefiting from Payal already so we are very pleased! Exams start next week so hopefully just her confidence boost will help and then by Nov she should really see results. Thank you once again!
We met Cameron for the first time on Thursday and he was great, related well to Mitchell and it was obvious that the had a great understanding of the subject matter. I think it will be a good fit. Thanks for finding him
The tutor provided was of a high standard and our daughter made clear progress with her maths as a result of the tutor's methods and style. Although there would certainly be some benefit to be gained from ongoing tutoring - chiefly providing maths extension opportunities - and we may return in the future for further tutoring, we are more than satisfied with how our daughter is doing and the level of confidence she has now attained.
