Learning science is full of twists and turns. It's about making embarrassing mistakes, overcoming setbacks and chasing those exhilarating aha moments. If they want to achieve great results students need to put in the time, but they also need to learn at a quicker pace - a learning pace that might not be completely comfortable to them. Some students get to the finish line quicker and some students struggle along the way.

We work with great physics tutors in Mount St Thomas who can support your child's academic progress. There's always a test or quiz around the corner and with a great tutor guiding them, students tend to feel less overwhelmed.
Tutors are also great role models. It's all about the connection they make with the student. We've found that when a tutor and a child click - that's when learning happens.
That is exactly what we look for in a tutor, someone attuned to the specific needs of your child.
All we need is to have a quick chat with you. We organise a tutor to come to your home for one-on-one tutoring, at a time that works for you and your child.
You pay a simple hourly rate. And if it happens that you are not completely happy with the tutor, we consider the first lesson a free trial. Then we keep looking for a better match.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Nadine's learning strategies are generally good and don't require any special attention. I encourage her to pay more attention to the formatting of her work, as this is sometimes poor in tutorials. However, it is usually better on assessment tasks so it is something I know that she is capable of when she puts her mind to it.
I can see that he is trying harder day by day to achieve his goals. From the way he does his homework and answers to my questions, I can say that he is definitely spending more time on studying. Now there are less number of unsolved questions in each homework and the answers are mostly correct.
Most of the time Archer can solve most questions. He is still very dependent on his calculator to solve basic math questions but the more complicated questions that do require a calculator he can generally do pretty easily.

Kai is really enjoying his lessons with Noah! He's got a great way of connecting with Kai. Kai mentioned that Noah explains the reasons instead of doing things by rote. He gets him to think before explaining the answer. Very happy with him!
Breanna is doing well with Clarissa and finding that it is helping even this early in.
I just wanted to thank the EzyMath team. Jayesh has done an incredible job in tutoring Shona, her marks have gone from a fail to the mid 80s but not just that, its her understanding of the core concepts that has improved dramatically. Shona is at a point now where she is prepared for her HSC, she has a study schedule in place and feels confident about the syllabus.
