Does your child need help with physics?
Maybe they need an extra push to reach that grade or they want to go from keeping up to excelling at science. Whatever the reason, we can match you with the right local physics tutor in Sandringham who understand your child's needs and knows how to get them where they want to be.
Most students start out interested in physics and perform fairly well on tests. But once the concepts become more and more complex most parents notice a change. It's when students start believing they don't "have what it takes" and their self-confidence starts to plummet.
Parents usually try to intervene, remind their child that geniuses are not born, that they work hard and face obstacles like anyone else, and for some students, that's enough. Others, however, need more support.
That's where we step in!
We find tutors and organise one-on-one physics tutoring in Sandringham, at your home or any other place that works for you. We work around your schedule.
When it comes to payment we like to keep it simple. You pay a simple hourly rate, no extra or hidden fees.
And what if, for whatever reason, the perfect match doesn't happen on the first try? That's completely fine, it happens!
In case you are not completely happy with the first lesson, it comes as a risk-free trial. We simply keep looking for another tutor, someone better suited to help your child.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Specific learning strategies I would recommend is perhaps targeting and keeping a note of all the stuff he struggles with so that he can work to improve those. Keep on checking work through working backwards to see if the answer is correct.
Kynan is polite and keen to learn new topics ahead of his class. In tutorials, Kynan is patient and works hard to understand new material. I'm occasionally giving Kynan homework that involves him revising material from our lesson and showing me in the next lesson how to solve a small amount of relevant problems. For his latest homework, he had trouble starting it but after a quick review on 'lowest common denominators' he was able to quickly work through it solo.
Lara's algebra skills are still not at the same level as the rest of her work, which can sometimes be an issue. Lara's time management in exams is something I think we should work on. Her results in her upcoming exam will give us a starting point to work from. She also seems to suffer from performance anxiety at times, which we should try to work on so it doesn't become a problem in the future.
