What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
For most people - including myself - the greatest joy I get from tutoring is seeing how my students flourish as their confidence in the subject I'm teaching rises. Seeing students develop their problem solving skills and eventually solving problems their own way (even when the topic is too advanced/has yet to be introduced) feels rewarding and euphoric in its own right. In summary - there's nothing that makes me happier than watching students succeed.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe I'm able to simplify complicated English and mathematical principles and concepts and teach them to individuals with lesson plans catered towards them when needed.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Often times I've found that a lot of students struggle with certain parts in learning but don't speak up about them because of being afraid. In light of this, I believe the most important things a tutor can do is be the more proactive party in this situation - which should go without saying. Observing your student and noting down what difficulties they might have with lessons and learning in itself is exceptionally important. When a student seems to be struggling, it's fundamental for the tutor to see this and reach out when the student feels like they can't.
