What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I really enjoy teaching in general, and combining it with subjects I enjoy learning is always fun. I have experience in teaching spoken English back home in India, and I am a trained Tap dance teacher as well, which has equipped me with skills to undertake tutoring.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

When I tutor, I ensure to come up with a model and style of teaching that is moulded for the student and their style of learning. I try to focus on understanding the concept and ensuring that the student can ask me anything about the concept. No doubt is silly and I try to put a student-first approach while teaching.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor needs to be patient with the student, no matter the student's age/grade level. It is extremely important that the student feels comfortable with the tutor and is able to ask any question, be it big or small.

About Ritika

Strong STEM Foundation with Advanced Maths and Physics

Ritika is a Mechanical Engineering student with a strong background in higher-level Physics, Chemistry and Maths, making her well equipped to support school students in these subjects. She has hands-on experience using tools like MATLAB and computer-aided design software, which helps her explain abstract maths and physics ideas through real-world, practical examples. This tutor is especially suited to students who are curious about how classroom concepts connect to engineering, technology and everyday problem-solving.

Leadership, Communication and Mentoring Mindset

Ritika has served as a House Captain and represented her school in debate and Model UN, giving her extensive experience speaking clearly, organising teams and motivating peers. These roles have trained her to break down complex information and guide students step by step, while building their confidence to speak up and ask questions. She brings a calm, encouraging presence to sessions and is used to helping others prepare for assessments, presentations and structured written work.

Engaging Lessons Linked to Real Interests

With a deep interest in Formula 1 and race car dynamics, Ritika uses real engineering and sports examples to make maths and physics more engaging, especially for students who enjoy cars, sport or technology. She runs her own YouTube channel on racing, planning, scripting and editing each video, which translates into creative lesson planning and clear explanations. As a trained cricketer and dancer, she understands discipline and practice, and helps students build strong study routines in a friendly, relatable way.
