What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Sharing my knowledge in a subject I am passionate about, with younger people who can then use the skills to do well in school.

My Strengths as Tutor πŸ’ͺ

My ability to clearly and effectively express the way in which a student should answer a question, and ensure that they truly understand the content that we are going through.

Most important things I can do for a student πŸ…

Ensure that students can understand the content and topics they are learning, while maintaining a friendly relationship with them. As a tutor, you should be able to listen, help students feel capable and motivated, build confidence and adapt explanations.

About Aryan

Aryan Sawant

I am a 2025 graduate from Parramatta Marist High School. I am currently pursuing a double degree of a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Business in 2026 at the University of Technology Sydney. I received an 88.45 ATAR, consisting of a 94/100 in Mathematics Standard 2, 86/100 in Biology and 86/100 in Business Studies.

Proven experience coaching and motivating 5–12-year-olds

Through his role as a football coach for 5–12-year-olds, Aryan has real experience managing groups of young learners, keeping them engaged, and explaining skills step by step. He regularly adapts activities so every child feels included, a mindset he brings into tutoring sessions. This tutor understands how to balance fun with focus, helping children stay on task while still enjoying the learning process, particularly in maths and homework support.

Leadership, debating and community involvement that lift learning

Aryan’s background in debating, public speaking competitions and community volunteering has sharpened his communication and organisational skills. Completing Duke of Edinburgh levels and playing A grade cricket show persistence, goal-setting and time management – qualities he models for his students. In lessons, he draws on these experiences to help students plan their study, explain their thinking clearly, and build resilience, creating a calm, encouraging environment where they feel safe to ask questions and try again.
