What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love that moment when something finally clicks for a student. Like when they go from being stuck and frustrated to actually understanding and feeling proud of themselves that switch in confidence is the best part. I know what it’s like to struggle without enough help, so being able to make things less stressful and more manageable for someone else is really rewarding. It’s not just about marks, it’s about helping them believe they can do it.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
One of my biggest strengths is patience. Through my Kumon experience, peer support in Year 10, and years of helping my younger brother with schoolwork, I’ve learned how to explain things in different ways until they click. I’m also good at breaking down difficult concepts into simple steps and creating a comfortable environment where students feel safe asking questions.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A good tutor teaches students how to think through problems on their own, so they don’t become dependent but instead grow more independent. Creating a space where it’s okay to make mistakes and ask questions is really important too, because that’s how real learning happens.
