What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the satisfaction of watching a student finally understand a concept they were stuck on. I also love to see my time and effort help improve a student’s confidence and help them realise their capabilities, while also boosting my confidence as it helps me realise that I thoroughly understand the content I am teaching:

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am patient with confusion. I am currently a uni student, therefore I have also been confused and I know how it feels when something doesn’t make sense but it should. Students should feel safe asking any questions. I am also good at rephrasing questions and explaining things step by step in order to make it easier for students to understand.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is make the student believe they are capable of understanding the material. Most students tend to struggle because they think they’re not smart enough or they are afraid of being wrong. A good tutor should and would be able to change a student’s perspective and leave them more confident after sessions.
