About Sanuda

High-achieving maths student who understands the school system

Sanuda is a high-performing maths student currently studying Engineering (Honours), with strong results in advanced secondary mathematics. He understands the expectations of the current curriculum and uses this insight to help students tackle tricky concepts like algebra, functions and problem-solving step by step. Having recently completed his own senior studies with an ATAR in the high 90s, this tutor is well placed to translate classroom content into clear, manageable explanations for both primary and high school students.

Logical, engineering-based approach to problem-solving

Through his mechatronics studies and work in an autonomous systems project, Sanuda regularly designs algorithms to solve complex, real-world problems. He brings this same logical, structured thinking to tutoring, teaching students how to break questions into smaller parts and check their own working. He uses practical examples and simple diagrams to make abstract ideas easier to grasp, especially for visual learners or students who feel anxious about maths.

Calm, approachable mentor with real-world experience

Sanudaโ€™s background in volunteering and team-based projects has given him strong communication and patience with younger learners. He is used to explaining ideas clearly in fast-paced environments and enjoys building studentsโ€™ confidence by celebrating small wins. Outside study, he enjoys reading, drawing and badminton, which he often uses to create relatable examples in lessons. This tutor aims to create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.
