What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I especially love working with children and people younger than myself. It's extremely satisfying to see growth and evolution over time, as well as to recognise the individual moments when a student truly and finally understands a concept.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I'm a great communicator, and know how to break down complex issues into individual, manageable tasks in order to see progress. I can also manage the fine balance between pushing a student past their current abilities and taking too much control of the reigns; in order to guide them forward to achieve their own results, you have to demonstrate how something is done, break it down into a logical process, and provide opportunities for a student to apply what they are learning. I know that nothing is truly learnt until the knowledge is both understood in theory and applied in practice.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I always work with the student/parent initially to establish a goal (however broad or specific) to aim towards in order to develop an action plan and help their students to achieve results. Secondly, I create such a plan of action and apply it, making the necessary tweaks to improve it as we go along. Finally, I always remain adaptable to change and unique circumstances; some students grasp concepts slower or more rapidly than others, so patience, perseverance and communication are essential to me for my students' success.
