What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to use the knowledge I gained in my years of secondary education to further the educational experience of others instead of not using some of the knowledge I learnt ever again. It's a very fulfilling and satisfying experience when you can see that you've successfully helped build the confidence and ability of someone else in topics that I may have wished for help with when I first encountered them.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am patient with all stakeholders in a students education and understanding of all people, my previous experience has helped me learn how to manage parents, students of all ages. My ability to use multiple pathways in the process of helping each student in the best way for them and my capacity for creative quick problem-solving is very useful in these situations. Whether it takes a visual representation, a metaphor, a literal example or something else entirely my problem-solving skills and creativity ensure that I can effectively teach each and every student in the way best for them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

To be there as a support structure, not just a tutor that's only available during the assigned time. A tutor is really another support avenue for a student's education is what I've found in my experience as both a tutor and a student frequenting tutors. Another key aspect of a tutor is to be able to not only build the knowledge of the student but the student's confidence in that knowledge that you impart otherwise the knowledge is wasted.
