What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
As someone who's anxiety and depression heavily impacted their schooling experience, being able to assist in mitigating academic pressures in another student's life is an opportunity I do not take lightly.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Beyond my academic capabilities, I believe my greatest strength as a tutor is a capability to balance a professional and personal relationship with a student. I believe this is important as it assists greatly in the quality of support and teaching one is able to provide. As someone who struggled with immense academic pressures within their own schooling life, I believe that I possess an important sense of compassion and understanding necessary to provide optimal support.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Personally, I believe that in order to be a good tutor it is necessary to provide a level of support that feels as if it extends beyond the obligation that the position you hold is your job. I believe it is crucial to possess a genuine understanding for the strengths and flaws of your students in order to properly and efficiently deliver supoort that is targeted and personally driven. Furthermore, it is necessary to provide a level of support that allows a student to develop their academic skills personally, achieving tangible growth, rather than relying upon tutoring as a crutch for success.
