What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy teaching for those Eureka moments where a student can finally understand a difficult concept. I believe that tutoring is more than a supplement to school, but that it is also a source of mentors for students. These mentors can assist students in all aspects of their Highschool lives, encouraging and motivating students when they feel like giving up. I also enjoy this supportive aspect to tutoring.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe my strengths lie in my compassion and kindness as I will never look down upon any students. I once was a student with very little motivation, but through the assistance of my mentors I could find my self confidence and become self reliant. I wish to pay this forward to my future students and enable them to achieve their dreams.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important function of a tutor is to motivate and challenge their students to be the best version of themselves. Though tutors provide academic support, their main priorities should lie in their interpersonal connection with their students. If this connection didn’t exist, students might as well watch a prerecorded video. This connection is what allows students with less confidence to break out of their shells and ask questions, thus leading to their improved understanding.
