What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
There are a few factors that i enjoy about tutoring but one of the biggest factor is that I am able to be part of my student's learning journey. I always feel a sense of joy everytime I see my student improve. Whether is it in terms of their content or just the love for the subject. Many of them may fear the subject at first but gradually they start to enjoy learning that subject and put more effort into it. I would feel overjoyed as they have improved.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, I feel that there are still a lot of things for me to learn. I think that my strengths are willingness to learn, passionate and empathatic. I don't ever want to stop learning. I think costantly improving myself is one of the best ways I can help my students. From educating myself with the current exam questions to finding a more straightforward alternative method when approaching a question. I want to help students just like how I was helped by my math teacher during my Singapore GCE A Level. Therefore, I am willing to go that extra mile to help my students.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I think the most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to build a connection with the student. By building a connection, it means that the tutor is able to think from the shoes of the student. When a tutor knows the thoughts of student, the tutor is then able to use suitable methods to help the students. By building a relationship with the student allows better communication as well, this would definitely ensure that the learning process is effective.
