What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I love seeing when kids become more and more confident in the subject and sees an actual improvement in their work, and how proud they are of themselves for their accomplishment, especially when they come back to me and show me physical proof such as their marks from before tutoring with me verse after learning with me.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I like to make learning fun, approachable and personalised. I teach differently depending on the child I am helping because I understand everyone learns and grasps concept differently so I like to take the time to figure out the best teaching method for each student when I start tutoring them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think one of the best thing a tutor can do is not only helping the student to improve in a subject but also teach and explore with them how they study the best. By this I mean helping the student to discover what kind of studying methods best works for them, whether or not they are more of a visual learner or need to say things out loud etc. Ultimately, by helping the student identify these methods it allows them to utilise these skills in their other areas of learning as well as their future studying.
