Getting through 12 grades of school has its challenges. From actually passing exams to building intellectual independence to figuring out what to do after high school's over. Everyone can remember some of the hurdles that came up during the school years of their life. We have 4 English tutors in Upper Swan available to help your child overcome some of those hurdles. Private tutoring is all about a tailored approach, so whether your child needs to overcome some confidence issues, develop a study plan, prepare for exams or comprehend some specific trouble topics, we're here to help. And, what helps the most is having a good student-tutor fit, it's really a core ingredient that determines whether tutoring will help your child in the way you want.
So how does it all work?
The tutoring is done in your home at a time and day that is convenient. We want you to be super happy with your English tutor so the first lesson works as a trial: don't like it = don't pay for it. No extra charges, booking costs, cancellation fees, minimum requirements or anything of that sort. Pay for the tutoring time used at the end of each month based on a simple hourly rate. That's all!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Erik has recently moved to a higher difficulty math class. Because of this, some learning strategies have been taken to another level. For instance, Erik's note taking skills have improved to allow him to review past topics with ease. Erik has also had to improve his transfer skills and format skills in order to avoid getting lost in more difficult questions. Other strategies, such as talking aloud, pen to paper and self questioning have continued to be well established in Erik's repertoire.
Chris is a focused student during our lessons, he does his class assigned maths homework and he practised diligently during exam preparation. Chris clearly wants to succeed and is capable of the effort to do so. Chris does need to improve the organisation of his study habits and class notes. Re-writing his class notes and storing them in an accessible place for easy reference will aid his self-study and maths practice.
making guesses sometimes to fill in getting quite confused and anxious with pure addition, subtraction, multiplication, however, dealing fine with some problems solving such as ordering, place values etc
I think that things are going well- we only had one session so far but Jake seems great and does a great job of explaining things to her. I will definitely comment further once we get a bit further down the line, but happy so far!
We are very happy with Amanat. My son enjoys his sessions with him and that is a huge indicator for me as a parent. Amanat is so lovely and approachable with any questions I have and I like his commitment to my sons learning even though he is busy himself, nothing is ever an issue. I would recommend your business to other people and especially Amanat.
I am extremely happy with Nicky's tutoring. She instantly developed a lovely rapport with my daughter Bonnie. Nicky is very patient and great at explaining maths concepts in a way that is easy for Bonnie to understand. I am already seeing a much more positive attitude to maths in Bonnie and she feels more confident to do maths lessons at school. We got a good one!
