Verbal and written language skills are crucial in the information age. Comprehending texts, textual analysis, structuring written reports, refining creative processes and applying a structure to them, articulating thoughts concisely ... these skills are going to be useful in just about any career path. The main strategies we went through with Sarah this week was understanding how rules related to each other, so she could use the rule that was simplest to answer each question. we also took advantage of how all the quadratics rules are interrelated, so she could use a different rule as a checking mechanism to make sure she was right
Josh shows a good attitude towards learning and working in tutorial sessions. Josh puts good effort into his work during and leading up to tutorial sessions. Josh sets out his work well. Sometimes draws small diagrams, making them less readable.
Hazel has progressed really well in Maths and is slowly gaining confidence in the subject. She understands topics quite well though she still needs some practice in Algebra and solving equations. For English, Hazel's writing overall is good; she has really great plot development in her stories. However, in order to improve the quality of her writing, she should learn to implement creative writing techniques and ensure she includes quotes and supporting evidence in her essays

Ezy maths tutoring was just what we were after for Zena. We tried a couple of other tutoring companies before ezy maths tutoring but one we had to travel to to get there and the other offered us a young and inexperienced tutor, tutoring is more than knowing about the subject it is being able to teach it. Ezy maths tutoring offered us with everything we were looking for, reasonable pricing, at home tutoring and of course an excellent tutor. We found 'Tara' to be patient and understanding and Zena went from a D to getting B's and C's. We were very happy, thanks to Tara and ezy maths tutoring.
I decided to look for work as a tutor as I had time to spare and "fresh" knowledge that I thought I could share with students who wanted to do better. After being hired by two companies simultaneously, one being Ezy Math Tutoring, I would only have time to work for one of them. The decision to chose this company was easy as Ezy Math Tutoring provided greater support for its tutors. This included better pay, feedback, education on how to become a great tutor and a friendly group of people who were there to contact if I had any queries or if I needed help. The best thing about being a tutor was that I was able to dramatically improve the clients and their child's outlook on their education within a few weeks just by being there and providing a familiar face that knew how to help. I would definitely recommend Ezy Math Tutoring to any aspiring tutors and I thank them for the privilege of working as a tutor for the business.
Lauren had her first Tutorial with Caitlin today and Caitlin loved her straight away with confidence built on day one. So far, so good :0)
