Rick does put pen to paper when doing problems. He is still getting used to the idea of talking aloud when attempting problems. He does transfer his skills and understanding into solving maths problems.
Excellent attitude towards learning! Great effort, and most always completes the homework, and always puts in 100%. Marco can get distracted in the lessons sometimes and I'll have to get him back on track. He still struggles with concepts but has improved greatly since the first lesson and am sure will continue to do so.
Ben still has a tendency to read a question and think he cannot do it rather than break it down into small parts that can be achieved. He has the skills necessary to do more than he realises as he often gets thrown by long worded problems or questions that require previously learned content.
