Chemistry is just one of those subjects, it either clicks or it doesn't. Many students find maths and physics easy, but when it comes to chemistry they just feel lost.
And it's understandable. It can be challenging to connect the concepts to real-life, see how it all relates to their day-to-day. When they're struggling, students tend to give up easily and at some point, they stop trying altogether.
If your child doesn't catch on right away, or maybe they consider chemistry a complete waste of time, it can be hard to convince them otherwise. What we've found is that students react better when it comes from someone who they can relate to.
They react to mentors, someone closer to their age, who shares the same experience. That's why tutors are in a unique position to help a student grow.
That's why great tutoring can make such a big difference.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Aidan is good at talking aloud and explaining what he is doing. He sometimes forgets to back check his work, and is also reluctant to put pen to paper and show all working out. He seems to be okay in his attitude when it comes to getting answers wrong, but I would still like to encourage him to understand even further that it is okay to be wrong when answering a question, as long as he attempts it.
Carla's attitude to learning is strong and she always seems eager to gain an understanding of the content. Carla's effort during a lesson is very good. Carla takes excellent notes that I'm sure she finds extremely useful, but it may be helpful if she does more practice problems outside of our lessons.
Some lazy thinking was creeping back this month, with Tayla needing some reminders to remain focused for the entire duration of the lesson. Next year, I would love to help Tayla improve on: -remaining 100% focused and on task; -knowing all the times tables off by heart; -keeping her interested in seeking deeper understandings and self-questioning; -keeping her confidence up; -staying a wonderfully keen learner.

Sean has a true talent for tutoring. James has bonded so well with him already, he looks forward to his sessions and already the class teacher has advised that he is understanding concepts better and may move him up a level in maths! I'm very happy with his progress. We are glad that Sean has picked up on James' difficulties and appreciate his genuine care for James' progress.
I have no doubt it was Nicole's tuition that increased Eden's understanding & test results to an acceptable level (in fact, a little beyond that). Nicole is friendly, approachable, knowledgeable & expresses her ideas in a manner that suited Eden, I felt she was able to adapt her teaching methods to cater to Eden's learning style, which is an incredibly valuable skill as a teacher/tutor.
I enjoyed working with the team and I found tutoring with EzyMath Tutoring to be an incredibly rewarding experience. I would recommend any high school or primary school student to request tutoring through EzyMath Tutoring as I believe the staff organises tutoring incredibly well and provide an incredible amount of educational material to EzyMath Tutoring tutors. I would personally thank you for all your help and encouragement throughout the program.
