No one has doubts about the importance of English in the Australian school curriculum. Not only is it a mandatory subject to complete year 12, but it's a useful life skill. Verbal and written language skills are crucial in the information age. Comprehending texts, textual analysis, structuring written reports, refining creative processes and applying a structure to them, articulating thoughts concisely ... these skills are going to be useful in just about any career path. Sean has definitely improved in his work ethic and problem solving skills showing a stronger sense of back checking and making good corrections to errors. He is a very confident and hard working student that is capable on working through more difficult problems. He has a great understanding of the overall concepts learned in class and is able to apply his knowledge at high level during the lesson.
While I have not had enough time to properly monitor Elijah's study habits, he appears to be keeping up with his school work. Elijah brings in questions from school to tutor, which is a good sign, and I encourage him to continue this.
When confident Annie has a positive mindset and performs well in her work. However, when she feels too challenged she tend to lose focus and interest altogether. I am working to break concepts into their basics so that she can see that she already has all the abilities required to answer the difficult questions with confidence
I have found the Ezymath process to be highly professional and effectively adaptive in addressing the many challenges that can be associated with home tutoring programs. More specifically, (a) The fact that tutors come to the student's home environment (b) flexibility in arranging time-frames (c) open lines of communication for input and feedback in relation to student's progress and adaptability to the home tutoring process. I've also found the transparency associated with invoicing and the progress reports to be impressive. I'm unable however to comment on the reality Elijah's progress with his math challenges. Instead, I rely on Ezymath reports, as well as input from Elijah's parents and school teachers. Whilst still early days yet, evidently, there does appear to be some evidence suggesting that Elijah is gaining confidence and competence in maths. I believe Elijah's parents are planning to continue having tutoring session during the Summer break.
We wanted to commend Amelia, one of your tutors who has been working with our daughter Mila on her grade 6 maths. Amelia has been fantastic in all respects - friendly, punctual, encouraging, and a highly effective tutor who has helped Mila achieve her best report in maths to date.
Kareem is very happy with John as am I. He makes sure Kareem understands the basics and rules of what he is learning, which is what Kareem needs.
