No wonder most students get overwhelmed and start memorising instead of understanding the concepts. Or worse, they just give up.
We've heard it time and time again, you’ve probably heard it too. Some students connect everything as they go, but some are just stuck. This kind of attitude can lead to poor grades, but it can also lead to a crack in your child's self-esteem.
So what can you do?
The truth is - everyone struggles. Some might get there easier or quicker, but everyone struggles at some point. We know that and the Clareville chemistry tutors we work with know that, too.
All it takes is a bit of guidance by someone who's been there before. Someone who can foster the right attitude and study habits, but most importantly, someone who clicks with your child - a tutor who truly cares about your child's needs and goals.
That's what we do.
We find tutors and organise one-on-one chemistry tutoring in Clareville, at your home or any other place that works for you.
There are no extra fees, just a simple hourly rate. You don't like the tutor? No need to worry, the first lesson comes as a free trial and we find you a better match. Simple as that.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
First session was focusing on perimeter area for different geometrical shapes Second session was focusing on the volume for different geometrical shapes Third session was focusing on area of composite shapes Fourth session was focusing on area and perimeters. We will continue once I come back from overseas trip in November
usually has a good attitude in class and tries to perform at a satisfactory level. I feel he does try his best to try to stay motivated and do well. Doesn't do homework that I set, says he has a lot of other homework to do from school which is understandable, but I would like to see the homework at least attempted (I will give him little to no homework so he will be more motivated to complete it every time I set it)
Bronte would benefit from practising questions outside of lessons and reviewing the questions done during lessons in order to improve her long-term memory of specific techniques and approaches to questions.
Jack is really happy with Jereme, we don't expect miracles straight away but just having the support is comforting for him. Time will tell.
Thanks for following up. The tutoring is going well with Patrick. He is a nice polite young man, and professional, and Nick has responded positively. I can already see a bit more confidence with his Maths work.
Thanks for your email. I am happy to let you know that Jessica has settled down very well with Patrick. She is actually enjoying her tutoring sessions and has already felt a bit stronger and more confident. I have taken some time to listen to them and they get on well and Jessica does not feel uncomfortable to ask questions. Both Jess and I are so far, very happy with Patrick's tutoring.
