Students reach the next level when they work with someone who understands their needs, who’s available and honestly cares about their goal. That kind of support goes a long way, especially with chemistry, as it tends to be elusive and hard to master.
In most cases, that kind of help isn't available at school. Teachers already have a full classroom to manage and are generally swamped with tasks. Maybe you've already thought of finding a local Craigmore chemistry tutor for your child, but you didn't know where to start and what to look out for.
We can help.
This is what we do. We organise one-on-one tutoring in your home, at a time that's most convenient for you. You choose what the tutor covers and how often they come. Not quite sure what your child needs to learn? No need to worry, we'll figure it out.
We charge a simple hourly fee and last but not least, in case you don't like the first lesson - we consider it a trial and match you with another Craigmore chemistry tutor.
We've seen it time and time again, all it takes for a student to start trying again is that one aha moment.
The right tutor can get your child there.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Patrica has a great recall when it comes to remembering steps required to solve a question. This has enabled us to progress quickly and thoroughly into topics. I notice that Patrica makes small silly mistakes whilst doing problems. Annoyingly enough, it is these small mistakes that can cost the most marks in the end. Hence I suggest that Patrica double check all her lines of working as she progressed throughout the questions.
Josh is already stressed that I am going to give him holiday homework. He cried for good few minutes in the last session until I promised I won't give him any homework. He told me about his holiday plans and that he does not want extra homework to ruin his holidays. While it was funny to see how manipulative he is, I hope the homework I give him during each session does not come out as a burden.
Although she is gradually getting better at maths and the year 9 concepts, I think she still needs to work on her basics, including mental mathematics (i.e. adding, multiplying, subtracting and dividing the common values in her head). Bethany tends to use her calculator a lot to work out things like -1 +1, and she would be save a lot more time in exams if she could learn these values off by heart.

Flynn is going well with his tutor. We have had 2 sessions and they have been productive. Thanks for your service.
Finn is responding well to Anthony's tutoring, thank you. Anthony is kind, knowledgeable and has a lovely manner. Finn is feeling more confident and we will be continuing with Anthony's weekly tutorials.
We are so happy and impressed with Pariese. She has already made a great rapport with Charlie, which was our initial concern. She is both both professional and engaging with an obvious passion for maths. She has given us feedback relating to Charlie's learning style and is active in finding strategies to suit him. The fact that he looks forward to his lesson, is a testament in itself. She is always punctual and happy to have a brief at the end of each session. I have spoken to Pariese about Charlie needing long term tutoring, to which she agreed.
