Students reach the next level when they work with someone who understands their needs, who’s available and honestly cares about their goal. That kind of support goes a long way, especially with chemistry, as it tends to be elusive and hard to master.
In most cases, that kind of help isn't available at school. Teachers already have a full classroom to manage and are generally swamped with tasks. Maybe you've already thought of finding a local Keilor Park chemistry tutor for your child, but you didn't know where to start and what to look out for.
We can help.
This is what we do. We organise one-on-one tutoring in your home, at a time that's most convenient for you. You choose what the tutor covers and how often they come. Not quite sure what your child needs to learn? No need to worry, we'll figure it out.
We charge a simple hourly fee and last but not least, in case you don't like the first lesson - we consider it a trial and match you with another Keilor Park chemistry tutor.
We've seen it time and time again, all it takes for a student to start trying again is that one aha moment.
The right tutor can get your child there.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Talking aloud and backchecking are working well. Pen to paper is natural to him. Self-questioning seems to be ok. He is fine with being wrong and is fairly confident. He is diligent in his note taking.
I can understand that after 6 hours of school it can be a bit tiring afterwards but James should make an effort to do his homework directly after as it is often the best time to do so due to fresh memories even if it's a short duration (10-20 minutes). Otherwise James is a delight to teach.
With mathematics, practice will improve her confidence more so in answering questions. Before tests, she could give herself more time to study i.e. begin studying earlier before the test date, as well as write out summaries as a way to retain the information.

Thank you. So far so good. Sarah is very approachable and friendly, quick to respond to emails etc. and has a great collaborative style. Jake, who was skeptical of tutoring at first, has found the sessions very useful.
We are delighted with Charlie as Gabrielle's tutor. He has been prompt, polite, pleasant and extremely helpful. Within 2 sessions I could see her confidence in attacking problem solving questions had improved and approach to Maths in general.
Tammy is great. She has a friendly manner and she is enthusiastic at every session. Lucy seems to like her and she has some great methods for teaching. She engages Lucy and makes the sessions fun and interesting bringing things along to help Lucy understand what she is trying to teach her. She is concentrating on what Lucy's weaknesses are while thinking ahead for Lucy for year 7. From my observations of the sessions I think she will help Lucy enormously. I am very happy with Tammy to date and hope that she is happy to continue on with Lucy
