Students reach the next level when they work with someone who understands their needs, who’s available and honestly cares about their goal. That kind of support goes a long way, especially with chemistry, as it tends to be elusive and hard to master.
In most cases, that kind of help isn't available at school. Teachers already have a full classroom to manage and are generally swamped with tasks. Maybe you've already thought of finding a local Parmelia chemistry tutor for your child, but you didn't know where to start and what to look out for.
We can help.
This is what we do. We organise one-on-one tutoring in your home, at a time that's most convenient for you. You choose what the tutor covers and how often they come. Not quite sure what your child needs to learn? No need to worry, we'll figure it out.
We charge a simple hourly fee and last but not least, in case you don't like the first lesson - we consider it a trial and match you with another Parmelia chemistry tutor.
We've seen it time and time again, all it takes for a student to start trying again is that one aha moment.
The right tutor can get your child there.
Give it a try!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Kieran is making steady progress on his learning strategies. There's still room for improvement, in particular in the areas of back checking, avoiding rule dependence, avoiding lazy thinking and self questioning.
Taylor is putting in a lot of effort into her homework tasks; definitely for math at least. It is to a stage where I'm a little worried that she will be burn out trying to juggle all the work from school and her other activities.
Struggles with using a new algebraic rule, not sure if this carries over to simple algebra too Needs to take things step by step (often jumps ahead of himself) Has been doing quite well with the basics of statistics, but we need to work on the deeper understanding of how it all links together. Struggles to remember details from week to week, but does recall that the topic was covered and can refer to it without prompt (even if he calls it “thingyâ€)
Tim has now had 3 sessions with Dean and so far it seems to be a positive experience. Tim enjoys his company and understands the way he explains things , I guess this is a good place to start and hopefully it will continue to build into a rewarding learning experience.
Thank you for writing to me enquiring about Aaron's progress. So far so good, I think he is really happy with the teacher Mihika. I think they work very well together.
We have been very happy with Ameya , he has been well prepared, punctual and very committed to his work with Emma... I would happily recommend both Ezy Math tutoring and Ameya to people.
