Rylee is a pre-service primary teacher studying a Bachelor of Education (Primary), bringing current, evidence-based approaches straight into her tutoring. Through her teacher training and work with primary-aged students, she has gained hands-on experience designing learning experiences that build core skills in English and maths. This tutor understands curriculum expectations and how children progress through them, so she can target gaps while keeping students feeling successful. Parents can expect sessions that are purposeful, structured and clearly linked to school learning.
With extensive experience as an Out of School Hours Care educator and assistant coordinator, Rylee is very comfortable working with children from Kindergarten to Year 6. She regularly plans and runs age-appropriate activities, supervises large groups, and guides behaviour in a calm, positive way. Drawing on the My Time, Our Place framework, she is skilled at turning everyday interests into meaningful learning opportunities, such as incorporating reading into craft activities or sneaking maths practice into games and challenges.
Rylee brings a warm, approachable manner and strong communication skills to every session, helping even shy or anxious students feel at ease. Her coordination experience means she is highly organised: she can plan step-by-step learning goals, keep simple records of progress, and adjust activities when something is not working. She enjoys building on each child’s strengths and interests, whether that is using creative tasks for reluctant writers or timed challenges for energetic learners, so tutoring feels both productive and enjoyable.
