Cartia seems much more comfortable with addition and subtraction.

Cartia's attitude towards math still needs improvement. Her lack of interest makes it difficult to get through the content as she tries to avoid the work. If Cartia could participate more willingly in the lesson, I feel her progress would greatly accelerate

Cartia was quick to understand a small mistake with addition, showing that she has retained the column method skills for addition. During the final stages of our session she completed consecutive questions with confidence and managed to get them all correct.

I can see Cartia building confidence, but I would love to see her believe in her ability to answer the questions without clarifying each step. I think she can easily rectify this by doing practice questions on her own and then seeking feedback afterwards.

Cartia started off really strong by answering all the starting subtraction questions correctly. She has done well at retaining the skills we learnt last week

Cartia still struggles with focus during our session. I think it would be beneficial for her to shift her mindset from trying to avoid harder questions and instead approach them regardless of whether she makes a mistake

Cartia was able to confidently work with subtracting 2 digit numbers and after a revision on her addition skills, she was much faster than previous sessions

Cartia needs to work on breaking up difficult questions and recognising when borrowing is necessary during subtraction
