Unfortunately not every school teacher is a good match for every student. Often the student might develop the sense that they are not smart because they don't understand their teacher's approach, but often it's just a bad match. It's truly incredible the way in which one explanation creates that "aha" moment whereas another creates confusion. Our service is all about finding you the "right" tutor, not the "best" tutor. A local Biggs Flat English tutor will not only connect well with your child but they will be able to offer explanations in such a manner that your child just "gets it". This is what we do.
Our offer is quite simple. We will find you an English tutor in Biggs Flat. They will come to your home at a time of your choosing. They will come as often or as little as you decide. They will tailor the lessons to your child's specific needs. Best of all, if you think the tutor is not the "right" fit, we'll organise another tutor free of charge.
We want you to be a raving fan of your tutor. That's our Good-Fit guarantee.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Isabella has resumed tutoring with lots of momentum, having shown stronger skills with addition, subtraction and even multiplication and division. It is good to see the development of transfer skills, as Isabella is taking knowledge that she already knows and using it in new situations.
Bethany continues to work hard and tries her best in her homework, which is very good to see and I can tell that it has helped her improve in her understanding and learning. She has a good attitude in sessions which makes it easier to teach her.
I'm afraid Charlotte is still having a rather uncommitted approach to homework, and as a result we spend more time in the tutorial going over it. I'm trying to set very light homework, in general, but failure to do the homework means we cant cover the material in depth. Aside from that, I think we've finally cracked a few of the more outstanding problem areas - mathematics with indices in particular.

Karla's tutoring is going very well. Hilario has a lovely manner and approach and Karla seems to be getting on very well with him. They have talked about getting the basics right and he's teaching her tips to remember key things as Karla becomes very stressed in exams and cannot concentrate. So hopefully this approach will help.
Noah is doing well so far with Michelle as his tutor. He is starting to improve with his understanding of Maths and is happy with the way Michelle is working with him. I think as time goes by and he becomes more confident that he will improve more.
So far so good. Freddy is lovely and Oscar seems to be settling into having a tutor really well.
