Chemistry is just one of those subjects, it either clicks or it doesn't. Many students find maths and physics easy, but when it comes to chemistry they just feel lost.
And it's understandable. It can be challenging to connect the concepts to real-life, see how it all relates to their day-to-day. When they're struggling, students tend to give up easily and at some point, they stop trying altogether.
If your child doesn't catch on right away, or maybe they consider chemistry a complete waste of time, it can be hard to convince them otherwise. What we've found is that students react better when it comes from someone who they can relate to.
They react to mentors, someone closer to their age, who shares the same experience. That's why tutors are in a unique position to help a student grow.
That's why great tutoring can make such a big difference.
Want to find out how? We can allocate a local Castambul chemistry tutor within a day or two. They reach out to you and set up a first lesson whenever you and your child can make it.
If you like the tutor's approach you keep working with them. If you are not 100% satisfied - we consider it a trial lesson and find a better match. It's that simple!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Alex usually adopts an 'talking aloud' strategy when solving mathematical problems to ensure he knows how to sequentially tackle the problem at hand. He makes good use of the previous concepts learned to solve maths problems, which is extremely beneficial to his learning as he is able to reinforce on the previous skills learnt, while also showing its practical application in other fields of maths.
Ben maintains a good attitude towards his studies. However, I do think the lessons may be more worthwhile if he had more confidence and was keen in taking on slightly more challenging math problems outside of his comfort zone. Ben puts genuine effort into his mathematics as indicated by the grade he received for his recent mathematics assessment/assignment (16/20). There are no issues with Ben's work habits from what I have observed.
There are still areas that can be improved. Putting pen to paper is one area that she can definitely improve on. Lazy thinking can creep in at times but its an area that can be easily rectified. I also think being a little more energized as well with sessions with help her build more confidence and allow her to bring out her full potential. Nevertheless, its still early days and we are still forming a bond. :)
El-Abed is tutoring Faith in Maths, he has understood & targeted her multiple gaps in Maths. El-Abed has a great attitude & it appears Faith is keeping focused. Also after two sessions Faith has said its helping.
Deepti has a really nice working relationship with my daughter. She feels comfortable with her and enjoys her maths classes.
Deepti is working with my daughter for more than a year as her Tutor. The great strength of Deepti is the trust relationship that she develop with the students, so they feel comfortable to open up and get the guidelines she share and teach. My daughter was definitely improved her math, but more important improved her confident and approach to math.
