This confidence often results in a performance improvement across all subjects, not just English and starts a student on the cycle of success. It's addictive too! Having a sense of confidence in one's own abilities is so rewarding!

Haylee is grasping using the skill of back checking especially in geometry chapter. She is also using her skill of note taking in a cheat sheet for a test, which she is doing good in so far. She is okay with being wrong in things, after which she will seek understanding and then correct herself. Her confidence in herself is starting to improve now.
She gets distracted a lot and she is often late to lessons. She's still not organised with her school work and lesson work. She's still not putting as much effort as I want her to be putting into her work and she still relies on lazy thinking. She forgets her homework and we can't get through much work every lesson as she always gets distracted.
As discussed, she is quite behind on addition. The more fluent she becomes at addition, the more we may find the rest fo maths will click for her. If not, going over it with an understanding of addition will definitely help as well. Relucance towards anything newer, and likes to still to her methods. This makes it rather difficult, but I have to link the methods together to show her how to do things quicker.
My daughter and I are both very happy with Thibault. She has only had one session with him but said he was good at explaining and he was able to answer her questions. He was also encouraging, punctual and very polite. We are very happy to continue with him.
Gagan is a wonderful tutor and I would be very happy with her coming back next year.
Both Natalia and Kiara are very happy with Abigail and things are starting off really great.
