Every student needs help sometimes, and often that help is needed in English. From basics like punctuation, spelling and grammar right up to narrative writing, proof reading and literary analysis. The Australian curriculum is thorough and there are various challenges that pop up for students over the years. At some point most students could use some help and an English tutor does just that - help! Ideally that help comes before the student has formed a negative cycle or fallen into a no-effort habit.
What we do is facilitate that help as a home service, we'll organise an in-home English tutor in Postans, or wherever it is convenient for you.
A local Postans English tutor will come to you at a time and day of your chosing and offer tutoring help in a manner tailored for your child's unique situation. The first lesson works as a trial so that if your child doesn't connect well with the tutor, you don't have to pay and we can organise someone else for you.
The terms of service are super simple too. No contracts or minimum hours or cancellation fees or anything like that. You get charged a simple hourly rate. That's it.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Strategies such as talking aloud, pen to paper, seeking understanding and avoid lazy thinking were emphasized this month. I am attempting to get Geroge into the habit of not skipping steps and practically write all his thoughts on paper in which I will correct his mistakes and deepen his conceptual understandings.
With Matthews exams coming up, revision has been the main focus of the tutoring sessions. Matthew has started preparation for his exam with a good amount of time to spare, which shows he is committed to achieving his best. He has also started his notes for the exam, and is working on them as he completes the practise test. This shows good planning, as most students leave this task till a couple of nights before the exam/test.
We thoroughly went through the problem areas that were evident in his test paper from the beginning of our tutoring sessions and targeted the areas needing the most attention. This was problem solving questions dealing with percentages and solving algebraic expressions with like terms. This month I have been setting consistent revision questions for each weekly session, and short quizzes to bridge these gaps in his math.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to Ezymath and Natasha. During the half year's tuition, my daughter's English has been significantly improved. She also becomes more confident. I am very satisfied with Ezymath's service. I actually recommended ezymath to some friends, but not sure if they will finally find help from you.
I would also like to advise that our tutor Frank has been absolutely fantastic with our daughter Sophie. In only a short time he has helped her enormously and has improved her confidence and understanding of the maths topics. She is feeling a lot less stressed with her homework levels and workload heading into Year 9 next year , just as long as we have Frank!
Hi Erica Lachie seems to be enjoying his maths sessions and is keen make them each week which we are pleased about. Thanks for the follow up.
