Physics is one of those subjects that easily sparks interest. Students learn about natural laws, how tiny specks behave and how gargantuan planets orbit light-years away. Because of its many applications science has become one of the most exciting fields of the future. From theory to application, there's a lot to wrap your head around. As you move up the curriculum the content does become highly technical.

Mia has gained confidence in her Mathematical abilities, in particular, her mental cues for multiplication. During our classes Mia is often encouraged to use talking aloud and Back checking strategies to assist her in finding the correct answer. She shows interest in seeking understanding during each of our lessons.
She is a very cheerful and motivated person. She has maintained a positive attitude with respect to her studies and acknowledges her flaws when asked. She has a lot of potential to improve and do well. Has put in regular effort. Needs to use pen and paper more than calculator.
Freya does not seem to have any gaps. The main problem area is that Freya sometimes rushes into exercises and little mistakes are made which ruin the question. This can be solved by backchecking and more practice of algebra which is where those mistakes have occured.
We had our 1st session tonight with David and it went really well. My son connected with him immediately even though he was nervous about tutoring and didn't really want to do it prior to tonight. After he had his session with David he said it was fun! I was pleasantly surprised to hear him say that and he asked that David come back next week instead of waiting a fortnight! We are very happy so far.
Things are going well with Amelia's tutoring and we are happy so far with the help Justin has given her. There was a decent improvement in her last maths assessment performance so that's a good sign!
We were all very impressed with Trent, Tamoe in particular. He was very patient and sought out a real connection with Tamoe. This really helped to get Tamoe to focus and listen. Tamoe is very keen to book in more time with Trent when school goes back.
