Year 11 and 12 Chemistry can be intimidating. Students need to learn heaps of content, be able to recognize reactions and analyse chemical systems. The number of concepts students need to master is overwhelming, and the workload only adds up as they move up the curriculum. If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.

If your child doesn't hit the ground running, if they don't develop adequate study habits it's easy to get swept away by the sheer number of demands.
Tutors we work with know that. They've been there. Being approached by a mentor rather than a teacher makes it easier for students to develop an appreciation for chemistry. That's what it comes down to - someone making sure your child doesn't give up.
For some students it's just passing a test, for others it's getting through QCE with flying colours, maybe even preparing for a career in STEM. Whatever the goal, we are there to support your child through it all.
So what's the next step?
Give us a call and we will organise a chemistry tutor in Broadbeach Waters to come to your home for one-on-one tutoring, at a time that works for you and your child.
We allocate local Broadbeach Waters chemistry tutors so scheduling is never an issue. Changed your mind or need to postpone the lesson? No worries, there are no cancellation costs.
On top of that, the first lesson is a trial so if you don't like the tutor we'll find someone else who is better suited.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
For this month we will be focusing on preparing the student for his upcoming test named memory lane. Which means the student has to be prepared for all the units he has gone through so far up till now.
As always Shivani's efforts and work ethic are very pleasing, however as we get closer to her holiday break, I hope you may be able to help her stay motivated to complete a few hours of work each week, as obviously I can only do so much on my own to keep her motivated whilst she is not at school.
Some problem areas that I can see is that he tends to forget topics quite quickly after I go over it with him so I have to re go over them before each test comes up, maybe doing a bit more consistent revision can help with this as it can store it in his long term memory so that he doesn't forget the basic knowledge.
We are most pleased with Jonathan. Jonathan is extremely diligent and personable. Jack is surprisingly enjoying his sessions with Jonathan. So far the results exceed our expectations.
I would like to say that at this stage things are going very well, Gabriela is very confident and he has cleared up a lot of questions for her. She is very happy.
Very happy with Jason's tutelage. Anna understands him and they work well together. Thanks for the connection!
