Every student needs help sometimes, and often that help is needed in English. From basics like punctuation, spelling and grammar right up to narrative writing, proof reading and literary analysis. The Australian curriculum is thorough and there are various challenges that pop up for students over the years. At some point most students could use some help and an English tutor does just that - help! Ideally that help comes before the student has formed a negative cycle or fallen into a no-effort habit.
What we do is facilitate that help as a home service, we'll organise an in-home English tutor in Lucas Heights, or wherever it is convenient for you.
A local Lucas Heights English tutor will come to you at a time and day of your chosing and offer tutoring help in a manner tailored for your child's unique situation. The first lesson works as a trial so that if your child doesn't connect well with the tutor, you don't have to pay and we can organise someone else for you.
The terms of service are super simple too. No contracts or minimum hours or cancellation fees or anything like that. You get charged a simple hourly rate. That's it.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Kyran appears to have many of the basic strategies foundational to solving Mathematical problems. He appears to be quite ahead of his peers when it comes to his knowledge compared to what he is learning currently. Although this allows him to answer questions with relative ease, I will need to continue to reinforce the need to properly writing down the process rather than just the answer.
Sam is very confidence in the questions he knew but he might be unsure when facing difficult questions. He only has 2-3 maths class per week therefore I can only see little note taking skills. However, I was very appreciated that he writes date for every maths class after I told him once only.
Linear relations have been difficult for Angus, but with time he is improving. The concepts involved have taken a while to get through to him, as has how to substitute values. We will continue to work on that in the coming weeks with more worded questions (which seem to work better for him).

Michael has made a huge difference already, and we are very happy with his work so far. Mia is listening to him and there is some great mutual respect happening. I love that when mia doesn't know something he ensures to not make her feel silly. It has helped her confidence Immensely.
Justin is very good and Athena although has only had 2 lessons with him, she is already finding him very helpful.
Right from the beginning Steph had a great rapport with Tara. She has been a couple of times now and I've never seen Steph so engaged with maths before.
