What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
One of the things that I enjoy most is to be able to see the progress and improvements of your own students. There's a unique joy in breaking down complex mathematical concepts into simpler, more digestible parts and seeing the 'aha' moment on a student's face when they grasp a challenging idea. It's a powerful feeling to know that I played a role in helping them conquer a subject that may have once seemed daunting.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
First of all, I believe it is my will to always keep learning that makes me a good fit for a role as a tutor. Hardly anyone can know everything, but the commitment to learning, I believe, that makes the difference.
Secondly, I have a strong aptitude in Math and related subject, with grade 12 GPA of Math, Physics, Computer Science, Biology and Chemistry being 9.5, 9.5, 9.5, 9.7 and 9.7 respectively. I also have a good command of English with 8.0 in IELTS and a good communication skills through a long-term experience of leadership in multiple extracurricular activities.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
While competence is undoubtedly essential for a tutor, I firmly believe that the most crucial aspect of tutoring is the ability to make intricate subjects understandable and engaging for students who may initially find them intimidating. A tutor's role extends far beyond delivering information; it involves guiding and inspiring students on their educational journeys. And a student is inspired only when they understand it.
A tutor may not be able to deliver a world of knowledge, but as long as inspiration persists, the student will delve into that him/herself and get better at it really fast.
