What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy the tutor-student interaction. I like to see the positive progress my students achieve not only in school but overall in life. I am studying physiotherapy, and to me when a patient feels better, I feel better with them. Tutoring does the same to me. I contribute to making a student better at their studies, it gives me joy that I could help someone do better and achieve better results.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
Tutoring takes patience. You need to explain one thing several times if the student doesn't get a concept or theory. I believe I have this trait which allows me to make my students understand topics thoroughly.
The other thing is my ability to modify my teaching techniques about a topic depending on the student. I believe all students are different. One way of teaching will work for one student but won't work for another.
Lastly, I have enjoyed studying maths and science throughout high school and college. Teaching these two would mean I would be growing my passion for these subjects.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A tutor can build confidence and a positive approach towards studies in a student. Marks are important but what's more important is giving an exam with confidence and with a winning attitude. If this is done, then marks will follow behind. I believe that a student should cultivate these two things as they will lead to success in the future.
