What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Personally, I feel like helping others achieve their targeted grades gives me joy too because I get personal satisfaction from that "I did that" feeling and from my tutoring experience I feel happy when my students came up to me happy about their grades and it gives me personal enjoyment.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
As a tutor, I like to give analogies and describe the task based on stories. I have done it with a lot of kids and they seem to be more interested when I describe and make the problem fun. As a tutor who just finished high school, I think that I am also able to connect with kids at that age and understand their feelings. Furthermore, I can give them a university guide if they needed one.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing is connection. I believe that most student studies not because they want to but it is because it is the social factors and extrinsic motivation. Whether it is pressure from parents, pride from peers, or other factors. I personally think that it is difficult to change a kid's intrinsic motivation as it is usually just being "fun" but through having a strong connection we could at least alter that by giving them motivation and find ways that as tutors could help students grow to be intrinsically motivated to do their work.
