What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy the interaction between student and tutor and watching the student grow academically. It is also welcome to see an increased confidence in themselves when attempting to accomplish tasks that previously they found to be difficult.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am very patient with students and can explain and demonstrate Maths concepts in a variety of ways. I have a good knowledge of the NSW and Queensland curriculum from my time as an In Home Educator.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor needs to listen to their student and also be able to read body language especially for younger students who will not talk if they are struggling. Build a relationship between student and tutor so that the student feels confident. Be flexible with learning styles and make it enjoyable for the student. Constantly assess student knowledge, content and strategy for learning.
