What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy seeing the process of one starting from no understanding to fully grasping the topic. It makes me feel like I’ve made an impact. In addition, I enjoy finding new methods in teaching others because it also makes me better understand the topic, and I could also use those methods to teach others if it really worked with one.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am empathetic and resilient. I would empathise with one when they are struggling to understand the question or the subject at hand because I had too. However, I would be resilient in the fact that I believe that they would grasp it eventually and give them as much encouragement as possible. I think that it is important to give one confidence so that they can achieve their maximum potential.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think that it is important to be reliable for the student. This may in terms of maintaining regular sessions and also trying to understand their curriculum better. I know that syllabi are changing constantly, I would also like to enrich myself by doing further research into their topics so that I am sure that the things I’m teaching or helping with aligns with their school’s.
