The most important thing a tutor must be for a student is to be their support, creating a safe space for students to ask questions without feeling judged, and having the patience to reiterate concepts until it is grasped. At the same time, tutors should balance applying pressure into students to ensure they work hard on their own and is proactive, instead of just relying on tutors to help them improve.
