What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I find teaching rewarding and inspiring, knowing that you have helped someone become confident in their own work and have encourage them that hard work pays off.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I have a practical learning approach, which sometimes requires me to think outside the box and relate problems to the individual so they may better understand. In addition, I am flexible with my teachings and can think innovatively to help get content across. I have a good ability to read nonverbal cues to confirm if individual has understood or if further teaching/explanation is required. During my first and second year of study I worked full time, this helped me develop good time management skills.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I strongly believe a tutor has a responsibility to build a safe environment where students feel safe to make mistakes while learning. I also feel a tutor needs to understand that people have different learning styles, and therefore should be able to adopt their teaching methods to meet the students need.
