What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love being able to share what I learnt in maths with them, and I hope that they can experience the same joy of finally understanding how different topics work - the "a-ha" moment, as one of my past math teachers called it.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I believe I can break down complex topics to its fundamentals, whether it be harder Extension 2 topics or even more simpler topics at younger years. I have a lot of leadership/mentoring experience, whether it be from sports captain, to mentoring year 7's, to teaching younger children how to play AFL. I also have a lot of patience, going as slowly as needed for their sake.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Being able to take a very hard idea and break it down to a very simple/relatable idea for the student to understand. A tutor has to be patient and go at the students pace, whilst also pushing the student to reach his/her potential.
