What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

As a high achieving mathematics student, I often helped other members of the cohort in times of need and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I love helping people (as can be seen by my career choice as a psychologist) and seeing students achieve to the best of their ability is a great feeling.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a recently graduated student, I am able to understand how it is to be a student in secondary school. I often helped other students in my cohort and I know how to simplify things before expanded on the topic, and I understand that helping a student understand a concept is much more important than telling them to just remember off by heart.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

A tutor must give a student confidence and help them to not be overwhelmed by new topics. Once a student believes they can learn something, it is much easier to actually learn it. Tutors must also be personal and understand what method of teaching is most effective for each individual.
