What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being a teacher, but the advantage tutoring has is being able to give your student your undivided attention as well as individualized help. I like that as a tutor I tend to have more face time with parents as well.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

My ability to build rapport with my students enables me to reach a level of trust that is essential to helping a student learn new material. I build confidence in my students through emphasizing the socio-emotionally aspect of education. Understanding who your student is first, is essentially to being able to understand how to effectively teach them.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Instilling confidence is the most important thing I could do as a tutor for my student. Because my end goal is for them to believe in their ability to learn new material even without my guidance. Once your student feels confident, they tend to perform holistically better. Even in subjects they were already doing well in to begin with.
