What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Being able to share knowledge, its gratifying when someone else grasps a concept I teach and are interested in. I also enjoy helping someone reach their goal. Additionally if I can make someone more knowledgeable or more skilled its better for society overall.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My ability to communicate complex topics and explain how they relate to other topics and applications. I have a deep understanding of the content to support more detailed explanations and answers to specific and nuanced questions. I also enjoy all of the subjects that I tutor which allows the teaching to be authentic which I think students respond well to.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
Support them in reaching their goals and recognise their hard work. For the tutoring aspect, being able to explain concepts in multiple ways and understand how the student learns the best. Finding the best way to break down a complex concept, or re-explain a concept that they are struggling to understand helps the student the most. Lastly making sure they are relevant to the students' goal, their academic goal has to be in the drivers seat of every session.
