Today, we went over all the topics we have covered since I began tutoring India. I was very impressed at her ability to recall certain concepts that we had not discussed or dealt with for a long period of time.

Overall, I think India's confidence in maths has grown since we started tutoring and I look forward to working closely with her next year!

India was more confident in determining and identifying the best buy of 2 given products based on their unit price. She needed an initial reminder on the method to be used to find the amount per unit of a particular item.

She has also improved in terms of her ability to add 0's to the end of amounts if needed.

India was able to grasp the overall formula to finding a best of 2 given products (dividing the total amount of a product by the total weight/amount of a product. She could mostly apply this to the questions we did throughout the lesson.

India had some trouble understanding the idea of best buys and their application in day-to-day life. She initially had some trouble identifying the best buy of 2 calculated amounts since there were leading 0's (between 0.013 and 0.0135).

India has a good ability to apply the GST formula to various given amounts of money. She had some difficulty initially rounding to the nearest cent when there were 3 numbers after the decimal place. However, after practicing a few questions, she was able to round independently.

When rounding to the nearest cent, at times she rounds incorrectly (eg. rounding a number up instead of keeping it the same). Although we haven't done questions involving rounding for a few lessons now, so she should be able to pick up where she left off.
