What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I greatly enjoy helping people through problems and explaining them in more understandable ways. I enjoy the process of people coming to be able to reach solutions on their own and whilst encouraging them along the way. It's satisfying to see someone who once didn't understand something come to grasp concepts and be able to work through problems on their own with confidence.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I enjoy helping people with issues they have with concepts and am patient and encouraging whilst working through them. I find misconceptions people have with problems and explaining concepts in different ways to aid with their understanding. Additionally, I am very confident in my technical understanding of coursework and can communicate the requirements to work through problems in a step-wise manner.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can be is encouraging and patient, not everyone can grasp everything on their first run-through nor should they be expected to. I think it's best to work on problems with apt examples and explanations until the student is confident with the material and capable of working independently. Maintaining an encouraging atmosphere is also key to aid in motivating the student to work through issues and believe they are capable of coming up with an answer. Working through misconceptions is also key.
