What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I really think that tutoring is so valuable as a way of doing something positive and allowing people to learn. I love when I'm explaining something to someone and it finally clicks for them and they are able to understand it. It's really the best feeling knowing that I am able to make someone feel more confident in something that they are struggling with.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I think that my main strength is that I am really patient and used to people taking a long time to understand things for themselves. This is because I truly understand people's need to understand WHY we do something, instead of just knowing what to do. This means that I really make sure that everyone can understand the reasoning behind the maths because it makes applying that knowledge so much easier. I also think that I am really good at explaining things in different ways if one explanation and outlook doesn't click or work with the person.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I think that the most important thing that a tutor can do for a student is be supportive and motivate them to really believe that they are capable of excelling and doing their absolute best. By giving them this confidence in their own abilities, they will then begin to know that they are able to do so much more with an open mindset and can begin to not only learn knowledge but use this to take on the challenge of harder questions too.
