My Strengths as Tutor πͺ
I would consider my strengths as a tutor to include my patience, my knowledge of mathematics and my desire to see my students succeed. In terms of weaknesses as a tutor, I would only refer to the fact that I have been taught specific ways to deal with certain math equations, where the studentβs school teacher may require or prefer a different method or approach to the problem. Were this to occur I would need to take it upon myself to learn the alternate method so that I am then able to assist the student.
Most important things I can do for a student π
Teaching the underlying concept is what I consider the most important thing a tutor can do for a student. Simply providing answers or teaching method to a single problem or equation will not teach the student properly, they need to understand the concept and the method to the entire topic being taught.
